Conditions: perfect for an Iron Pax Challenge warmup.

10 Pax joined for a number of activities including:

Warm-o: SSHs, Abe Vigodas (forward and back), big arm circles (forward and back), seal claps, overheads, plank jacks, runner’s stretch, donkey kicks

Mosey around the turf fields stopping 4 times for: 1) 20 merkins + 5 squats 2) 15 merkins + 10 squats 3) 10 merkins + 15 squats 4) 5 merkins + 20 squats

Added some coupons for the Thang:

1)Murder bear crawl (bear crawl while pulling coupon underneath) 30 yards + 30 shoulder shrugs, carry coupon back to start

2)Murder bear crawl 20 yards + 20 coupon swings, carry coupon back to start

3)Murder bear crawl 10 yards + 10 offset merkins on each side of coupon for total of 20 merkins, carry coupon back to start

Then, on football field starting at goal line, side run across goal line, sprint up sideline to 30 yard line, side run opposite direction across 30-yd line, backpedal along sideline to goal line – again, again, again, again.

Mosey to benches for: 30 step ups, 30 sideways step overs, 30 dips. Mosey back to coupons.

Coupon exercises included: 25 dirty hookups, 20 windshield wipers, and 20 coupon jumpovers (forward and back = 1).

The power of this group is strong, and I’m not just talking about physically. These HIMs continue to show up and show out for one another even when we’re not on the turf fields. I’ve relied on the support of several HIMs through my own ups and downs. The hardest thing to do is admit you need help and then to ask for it. But when you do, there are no regrets. We’re all trying to get a little bit better. Grateful for this group.
