Warm-O-Rama:

  • Overhead Claps (IC)
  • Leg Lifts (IC)
  • Mosey around park

The Thang:

We did another circuit-based workout, the first with coupons and the second with bodyweight/ab exercises (sometimes coupons included).  The exercises each round got progressively shorter (35 to 20 seconds), along with the time in between each exercise (10 to 5 seconds).

Circuit 1:

  1. Curls
  2. Overhead press
  3. Squats
  4. Pass arounds
  5. Bent-over rows
  6. Coupon swings
  7. Skull crushers (or triceps dips)

Circuit 2:

  1. Shoulder and leg taps (with coupons)
  2. Coupon side hop (3x) + squat (3x)
  3. Plank with knee touches
  4. Coupon hops
  5. Low plank
  6. Merkins
  7. Squat thrusts

RECOVER

We finished up with some flutter kicks for a cool-down.

Circle of Trust:

There’s a lot of difficult and challenging things going on in the world right now, especially considering the events of this past week. While we can’t really do anything to directly impact the trajectory of these events/situations, we can individually do small good things, whether that’s making a donation to a charitable organization, volunteering, holding the door open for someone, picking up trash in the park, etc. The world needs all the good it can get right now, however small it may seem.
