Thang: We rucked around the neighborhood and stopped every block to perform the exercises below, 12 Days of Christmas style. Between blocks we alternated carries with Rifle, Farmer, Baby and Shoulder.

Blockie

Jump Squat

Block Swing

Reverse Lunge

Overhead Press

Hand Release Merkin

Big Boy Sit-up

Superman

Curl

Thruster

Row

Elf on the Shelf

In hindsight, I should have probably replaced the reps that had us laying on the ground. The wind and heavy rain soaked me through and there would have been serious concern for hypothermia if we were out there much longer.

COT: December and Advent are a time of preparation; preparing your home with decorations, preparing for getting together with family, preparing yourself with the spirit of the holidays by listening to music, etc. Preparation is important to me. McFeely spoke on Monday about confidence. I draw confidence from feeling prepared. Still, no matter how much you prepare, things don’t always go the way you planned; the meal or decorations, the family visit, the Christmas music that starts way too early. But, don’t let that get in your way. Roll with it. Don’t loose sight of what’s important: quality time with family and letting those around you know that you love them just the way they are.
