Let’s face it. We get sloppy out there from time to time. Sometimes the Q doesn’t follow beatdown structure. Sometimes he doesn’t say the exercise name. Or “starting position, move!” Or properly ends the exercise with “recover.” For these reasons, Homer ran a micro-Q school during the beatdown. Non-compliance by the pax or the Q would be met with an escalating burpee penalty. To the chagrin of Homer (who hoped to dole out massive penalty burpees) and to the great credit of the pax, only one penalty burpee was levied. Props to the pax!
