6 gathered for a grand tour of the Oak Park parking garage staircases to try  to reach the rising sun or at least to get a glimpse of it.  22 Flights of stairs were climbed per my fitbit.  There was an honorary welcome back bear crawl to welcome back RA and many merkins as we greeted people along the way. The sun rose and like Icarus we got as close as we could.  Lucky  for us we didn’t come crashing down to earth.
