Wow. I am humbled and very thankful for the 17 HIM that came out to celebrate a Beatdown 40 years in the making-and my 40th birthday. We avoided the rain by 15 minutes, and were able to get the entire Beatdown (and even add a little extra!).
The genesis of this workout was a look back at who we were/are at different stages of our life, with a playlist of some personally significant songs from the last 40 years.
Also Note: Dorn and Urban Cowboy (not listed) joined us from Down Range- thanks for making the trip fellas!
We got right to it:
Thang 1: 0-10 Years (Learning to Run)

Thang 4: 30-40 years- Responsibility
Playlist: (00s) R Kelly- Ignition(remix)- (1 it was a Jam; 2- really wanted to play while we were in playground (haha)); (00s) White Stripes- 7 Nation Army (love working out to this in my 30s; also inspired our impromptu 2nd run); (10s) Capital Cities- Safe and Sound (Came out when my daughter was born, and lyrics fit that first year of being a dad); (10s) Daft Punk- Get Lucky (good jam- also lighten the mood at the end of the workout)

40x Coupon Curls- Have to keep the WAGs impressed at this age

All in all, this was a helluva way to start out my birthday and my 40s! Thank you all!
