8 (9?) pax who were all fortunate enough not to be on vacation this beautiful holiday weekend came out for Tron’s one year F3-iversary this morning.

 

Conditions:

high 70s, sunny, humid

Warmup:

SSH, WMD, mountain climbers, windmills, side squats, dot drills, depth jumps, box jumps

RunDeck:

A short running tour of Oak Park parks stopping at Stevenson, Anderson, and  Taylor parks, as well as a random front lawn on the way home.

We played nine cards at each stop. Diamonds for sit ups, hearts for push-ups, clubs for squats, spades for Turkish get ups. Do the number of reps as the number on the card. Face cards are 10. Jokers are 20 Burpees.  Lucky us, all the jokers came out 🤷‍♂️.

We covered about 3 miles and 2/3 of the deck.

 

CoT:  keep working hard and doing the basics well. At F3 that might mean running  and calisthenics. In your relationships that might mean being present, accessible and kind.  Simple, but not easy.  In any setting though, doing what you do well will have many rewards.
