The Commodore. Sunday’s best. 3 for 6+ along the chilly path at Hubbard Woods park. Just a couple of dads runnin’, working shit out talking together and more importantly listening. It’s a skill amongst the group that’s been refined being around each other. We have learned to open our ears first and speak secondly. When sometimes all a guy needs is to be heard, the best thing to do is be still & quiet and provide the support he needs in the moment.

It’s something I’ve learned from these Sunday runs and I wish more get to experience along the way. This type of fellowship is indispensable.

For me, it makes life a little easier to have these men in my life.
