We did another circuit-based workout with two rounds, one focusing on lifting and one focusing on abs and cardio (both with coupon). For each set, we had a specified length for each exercise (e.g., 45 seconds) and 7-8 seconds of rest in between. It was as many as you can during the allotted time for each exercise.
I recently saw a cartoon on social media with two characters, one of which said, “Aren’t you terrified of what 2022 could be like? Everything is so messed up…” The other character replied, “I think it’ll bring flowers.” The first character replied, “Yes? Why?” The second, “Because I’m planting flowers.” For many, it’s not the best start to a new year and uncertainty continues to persist. There’s a lot of things we can’t control right now, and while the new year may bring more bad news, we can make investments in positive things now that we can control, whether that’s gardening (maybe not quite yet), working out, spending more time with your kids, etc. These investments will pay off in the future and are good to focus on now.
