Our theme was from the hitchhiking scene from Something About Mary and so we set out to prove, one can indeed do abs in 6 minutes!

Stop 1 – Euclid Park

Pax set out to run S on Ridgeland to Fillmore Ave West until arrival at Euclid Park. The rabbits start with the first Mary exercise – Dollys until the six gets to the park. Then all do 1-minute of Dolly until we leave for next stop.

Stop 2- Maple Park

Headed W on Fillmore until arrival at Maple Park where rabbits started the Rosalitas aka High Dollys, then all did 1-min of Rosalita together.

Stop 3 – Rehm Park

Headed E on Harvard to East N until Rehm Park where PAX did LBC’s OYO and then 1-minute of LBC together.

Stop 4 – Barrie Park

Headed E on Garfield St to Lombard Ave and Barrie Park where PAX did Dead Cockroaches OYO until our 6 arrived and we did another 1-minute Dead CR   together.

Stop 5 – AO Irving School

Headed back W on Harvard Ave to our AO in the lot of Irving where we did our final two Mary exercises. One minute of Big Boys followed by one minute of Peter Parkers for our final 6 minutes of abs.

Shared about our convo earlier this week about study shows that desperate & depressed rats in water give up earlier than those with hope of being rescued. While it’s been a funny, annedote that Depressed Rats Drown Faster , it certainly highlights the importance to looking out for one another and maybe identifying guys in our midst who may be struggling to find their people or just depressed and need some outreach. Encourage all of us to reach out to those who may need it.

We welcomed Dan West, long-time friend of Snork as our FNG now named Quasimodo.
