Thang:

We broke into two groups of three to perform a circuit at 4 stations with a minute of work and 30 sec recovery. We performed three rounds of the following:

1. 4 corners footwork drill w/ up down at start
2. Coupon station: thrusters
3. Leg station: Bobby Hurleys
4. Upper body station: Burpees

After taking a 1 min 30 second break, we had time to perform two more rounds with a change to the stations

1. Opposite direction 4 corners footwork drill w/ up down at start
2. Coupon station: coupon swings
3. Leg station: Apolo Ohnos
4. Upper body station: Merkins

COT:
Reflecting on the shootings in Highland Park, I naively thought that such an event would never happen in our area. Though there are many factors that contribute to such horror, the disconnection that people feel to their community and access to such destructive weapons has to be a large portion of the problem. Still, I have little faith in our elected officials to have meaningful impact in preventing such events and personally feel at a loss and helpless to what we can be doing as a community. Hopefully that will change. Until then, I offered a prayer to the victims and their families and asked for guidance in finding a solution.
