Star Course prep with Saturday Ruck workout.

We sprinted flats. We walked. We sprinted up hills. Anaerobic work is hard. I referenced a time when I was a new father with twin kids, and I spoke with my older brother who laughed a little when I told him my kids had some sniffles. His laugh was one of nostalgia versus one of menace. He reminded me of a time when his son had to endure an active shooter at the high school he attended. He then said he missed the times when he could kiss a “boo boo” or put a band aid on something. He said problems will always be there and as kids get older that the problems just become more complex. I reminded PAX that life can have hills, easy times, and times where you gotta go fast. Keep a pulse on things that are important.
