5 Pax set out on a 38° cool but manageable morning to test their mettle.
Warm-O-Rama: SSH (IC), Mountain Man Poopers (IC), Overhead Claps (IC), Seal Claps (IC)
Fellowship Run 2 blocks to a local school and head to the kickball base paths.
The Thang: Each Pax starts at a Base. Home base Pax does a certain amount of reps. All other Pax do different exercises at their respective bases. Home base jogs to 1st when done. 1st then lunge walks to 2nd. 2nd then bear crawls to 3rd. 3rd then jogs home. Rinse and repeat till all pax have done all exercises and return to their starting base. Exercises as follows:
Round 1: Home – 15 Burpees; 1st – Merkins ASMRAP; 2nd – Squats ASMRAP, 3rd – Big Boys ASMRAP
Round 2: Home – 10 Turkish Get Ups; 1st – Shoulder Taps ASMRAP; 2nd – Apollo Ohno’s ASMRAP, 3rd – Box Cutters ASMRAP
Round 3: Home – 20 Step Ups; 1st – Dips ASMRAP; 2nd – Bolt 45s ASMRAP, 3rd – American Hammer ASMRAP

CoT – Discussed the difference between Guilt and Shame. Guilt is the feeling you get when you did something wrong, or perceived you did something wrong. Shame is a feeling that your whole self is wrong, and it may or may not be related to a specific behavior or event. I think too often today people feel Shame, like they are not adequate when something doesn’t go their way. This leads people to be more cautious, to not put themselves out there. It’s okay to make a mistake, learn from it and be a better man for it.
Coffee Discussion – Talked about the impacts of Chronic Sitting, the challenges it presents and our need for movement.
