4 showed up with the chilly weather for a Bday celebration and got a good workout
Started out with a Mosey around the parking lot and immediately I knew we couldn’t do this path again today, since we cannot afford to lose another one to injury.
We moseyed along the hill mounds of the park – Jack Webb routine ,
Derkin – Dip ladder from 13 down
10 Merkin /20 lunges /30 squats
Donkey kicks and squat
Mary to end the day
We ended with some trivia trying to guess where each of the pax was born , we were good with 2 but missed on 2 and did penalty burpees.
Lots happening this part of the year , turning another year older , thankful for this group to help me ride the storms of life as they come . As I contemplate where I will be in 1 year or 5 or 10 years , this group is giving me the strength and belief for tomorrow as I hope to get 0.001% better. During coffeeteria, thoughts which crossed my mind , without the support and strength we get from F3 workouts , community service and fellowship I cannot think of doing the physical stuff outside including taking on the biting cold winds with burpees , staying fit and pushing ourselves . And who can forget the parking lot coffeeteria with a -10F wind chill with the valuable fellowship. I’ve been in Charlotte and got a taste of the cold , but Chicago surely punches you !
As Kodak says , Keep Accelerating!
Cheers
