Main Workout

  • Partner Up – Series of 6 exercises while the other partner runs to the stop sign and back
  • LBC’s 
  • Coupon Squats
  • Shoulder Press Coupon
  • Coupon Curl 
  • Merkins
  • Burpees

5 minutes of tough burnout 

  • 3:30 min plank to Oasis’ F***** in the Bushes – great high tempo song to finish a workout to!

Benefits of fasting – we do it sometimes for both religious reasons and health reasons.  Nothing crazy, typically do a 24 hour fast – Some of the potential benefits are: 

  1. Reducing inflammation throughout body / gut
  2. Improves heart health by improving blood pressure and reducing cholesterol
  3. Potential benefit in brain function
  4. Promotes weight loss through calorie intake and boosting metabolism
  5. Increases growth hormone secretion
  6. Could delay aging and extending longevity

 

Overall really found a lot of benefit from it – I just do a coffee/water fast but wanted to encourage the practice and if interested, let me know.
