Today very well could be the last time we have light for the majority of our beatdown until Spring…so we decided to have some adult recess! After a quick unofficial poll, we decided on Tennis and Pickleball. The rain and 43 degree temps didn’t deter, and overall it turned out to be a lot of fun!
For a quick WoR- we did gassers on the courts, carioca, high knees and a quick jog to get the blood flowing. We then broke out into Tennis (5 PAX) and Pickleball (4).
Tennis had two courts- Pax did some drills, a couple of 2 vs 3, 1 vs 2 (and 1 vs1) games. Beaker is an A player, and Redick/Denari can hold their own.
Pickleball had an intense doubles match going- I believe it ended in a tie!
After we completed the tennis did Balls to the Wall (1 min), Mountain Climbers (20 count).
CoT- I retold the story of my early sales days when as 20 somethings we would send out an F.O.F (eff off Friday) text to meet up at a bar and have an afternoon. Based on the last daylight, the upcoming winter, and a couple of guys coming back after a new baby break- we needed a little recess. A little break from the intensity for a little fun competition is sometimes needed. Also, I really look forward to braving the upcoming gloom with these HIM.
