Play Ball

9 Pax came out on a pleasant 65-70°ish morning and got to work.

W0R: Motivators 6 (equaling the number of innings in a T-ball game), Abe Vegodas – forward and back, Mountain Man Poopers, Daisy Pickers all on a 9 count (equaling the number of innings in a baseball game).  Mosey to the baseball field.

Thang 1: Field of dreams.  Pax start on a base. 1st base does AMRAP Merkins, 2nd base does AMRAP Squats, 3rd base does AMRAP LBC’s.  Each pax gets “1 run” for every 20 reps.  The Pax at home plate do 17 burpees.  Once each pax does 17 burpees, bear crawl or crab walk to next base. (17 burpees was the total of 3 White Sox World Series wins, 3 Cubs World series wins and 11 St. Louis Cardinal Wins.)

Thang 2: F3 Baseball.  Pax divided into 3 groups of 3.  As a group pax had to complete 81 reps of various exercises and then take a lap around the field.  Each lap was worth “1 run”.  Exercises as follows: 1st base Mountain Climbers (2 is 1), 2nd base Lunges, 3rd Base Merkins, Home plate, Turkish Get Ups.  After 4 rounds pax mosey back to AO

CoT: F3 wants to help us become leaders.  One thing that has made me a better leader is understanding what is going on in a persons life.  I told a story about home how my 6 yr old little called me an asshole and my understanding of what was really going on with him that helped him get out of it as well as a story about further understanding how my M’s upbringing shapes her responses to various situations and how I need to take those things into account.  Overall, people want to get along so take time to learn about those you lead.  It will help you in the long run.
