Conditions: 38 degrees. Brisk, but not cold. Sun shining. Beautiful morning to push/test ourselves.

Thang:
This beatdown was a condensed version of a previous IPC Challenge from a couple years back, paying homage to the “Mogadishu Mile” workout. The intention of the beatdown was to establish a baseline (i.e. time) to complete the workout with the expectation that we will revisit this exact same beatdown in a couple months to see “if” (haha…yeah right…by how much) we improve our time.

– 25x Overhead Press
– 50x Curls
– 75x Bench Press
– 100 Lunges (Walking or Stationary)
25 Yard sprint and back
– 100x Merkins
25 Yard sprint and back

COT:
My Buddy had the great opportunity to participate in F3 Geneva’s 2 year Anniversary the previous weekend. Overserved a ton of physical, mental and emotional transformation from some of the “OGs” of the group. Very cool to see that group grow from a few “regulars” to the ~50 PAX that showed up to their anniversary beatdown. I am very grateful to be a part of our group in La Grange, and beyond excited to see us grow over the next year (…and more).

Also…there was a check-in of New Years Resolutions and/or “Word of the Year” for 2021. Reminder that it’s not too late if anyone has slipped or fallen off track. There is still plenty of time to accomplish whatever is we set out for ourselves at the beginning of the year. Stay focused. We are all here to hold each other accountable.
