COT: My wife and I started watching Ted Lasso recently (great show) and one of his quotes to a reporter is something like “I don’t care about wins and losses.  I care about these men being the best versions of themselves both on and off the field.”  That’s what he focuses on.

It certainly helped me reframe my team meetings and 1 on 1’s with employees.  I can sometimes be too blunt, not empathetic, and not wanting to get to underlying motivations to help those around me get better both in and out of work.

It’s a great reminder for those that have influence over co workers, friends, family, etc… – care about making those around you better by listening and understanding.
