COT: After writing an obituary and eulogy this week, I was reminded that at the end of a person’s life we celebrate their connections with others (family, service to community, etc), and tend not to emphasize what they accomplished professionally. It’s a good reminder to not dedicate so much mental and emotional energy to ups and downs at work, and to prioritize maintaining your connections.
