The BackBlast:
8 PAX out for this Friday before Spring Break. Conditions were pretty mild: mid-30s with cloudy skies.
Warmer: SSH, Imperial Walkers, Daisy Pickers, field warm up consisting of High Knees, Butt Kickers, and side shuffles
Thang: Fellowship jog to Rehm Park, then all together ran a loop around the park, measuring about .4 miles. All PAX started at the “starting line” and ran the same loop, last person to cross the finish line was out for the next round. Last guy then runs the same loop in the opposite direction, and we repeated the loops ’til only one of us was left (Dubstepp!).
Did some cool down stretches and exercises in the park before a fellowship jog back to AO where we did some Mary to close it out.
COT: Shared some stressors in my life right now in more of a self-disclosure style COT than an encouraging word. But the takeaway was mainly emphasizing to others in the same boat – you’re not alone!
