Under cool and cloudy conditions, the rain let up for 7 strong Pax who gathered for a Friday run club.
Warmup: Mountain Man Poopers, Smurf Jacks, Daisy Pickers. 50 yards each of High Knees, Butt Kickers, High Steps, Backwards Jog, Front Jog, Sprint.
Thang 1: Half-mile tempo run native style; finishers monkey hump while waiting for six. 10 reps each of hand-release merkins, flutter kicks, big boys, squats. Repeat the entire routine a second time.
Thang 2: 10 reps of box jumps + 10 reps of dips. 6 sets total.
Thang 3: 50-yard jog to midline then sprint the last 50 yards. 6 sets total.
6 MoM: Flutter kicks X4 (20 sec on 10 sec recovery) + Big Boys X4 (20 sec on 10 sec recovery) + Kodak-led Thor up to 5 and back down.
CoT: YHC shared challenges with motivation at work given significant changes and loss of colleagues. At times, we all struggle with things that are outside of our control. Don’t be a slave to circumstances. Focus on what you can impact. Especially when it makes a difference for those folks you care about most.
