I recently read an opinion piece about reframing our approach to fall as a time to increase resiliency and make new starts. I particularly liked the idea of “harvesting,” which was described as taking stock of the year (or years) behind you by collecting memories without judgment. What has this past season brought to you and your life? Autumn will probably always hold some whisper of decay and mortality for humans, but embracing that sadness is important.
