Spackler outta the newly launched F3 Tampa joined the locals for a “Thriller” of a morning. YHC wondered if F3 is good enuf training for a 5K, so decided to test this premise. And….Yup! It sure is. After a warmorama to Michael Jackson’s song, “Thriller,” the Pax ran a 5k. The entire album played during our run. The Pax crushed it. The run, not the album! Homer questioned the lunacy of using the track v the lake front, but YHC fought him off.(waaaay easier to calculate the distance with a track). We did a bit of Mary upon completion. T-Claps to Arts&Crafts for setting the 5K pace, and T-Claps to Rancid for bringing the coffee. At COT, YHC invoked a great running quote from “Chariots Of Fire” for his huddled Pax – “God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run, I feel his pleasure.”  F3, Baby!
