I busted out the whiteboard again for this circuit-based workout. Each exercise was around 30 seconds each with 10 seconds of rest in between (varied slightly based on round). First circuit was entirely coupon based (curls, atlas squats, burp rows, etc.), while the second was primarily ab 0r cardio exercises, some with coupons (e.g., mountain climbers, coupon hops, etc.). Next time, I will need to add a disclaimer that the pass around is a leg scraper if you’re not careful. We finished it out with a farmer’s walk with our coupon up and down the parking lot.

This was my first time at the Donut Shop. When Kipling posted that the Q was open for today, I initially thought I wouldn’t do it for a variety of reasons: haven’t been there before, relatively new to the 5:30 crowd, etc. While I wasn’t exactly scared being the Q, it wasn’t something I was comfortable with doing my first time here. But F3 isn’t just about pushing yourself from a fitness perspective – there’s more to it – and this gave me a chance to get outside my comfort zone. Encourage you to do the same – however small of an act it is. Makes life a bit more interesting and pushes you to grow.
