Today was a feels like of -9 and 7 PAX showed up to work! We ran a lap stopping at 3 points along the loop to do various stretches. We ended at the covered pavilion for incline push ups, romanian split squats (L and R), tricep dips, and glute bridge lift. All moves performed eccentrically with 3-4 second decline followed by 1 second explosive up.
We then ran another lap stopping at an intersection for set of 20 eccentric pushups, ran to bank parking lot for 20 eccentric sumo squats, 12 eccentric step out push ups (L and R), and 12 eccentric pistol squats (L and R).
We finished under the pavilion for 15 eccentric leg lifts, 5 eccentric hip drop and raise (L and R).
Count-o-rama and COT where I shared my need to give up “control” as it is a myth and the most important things are out of our control. Things we do control include our choices, our responses, attitudes, and who we put our faith in! Live in the present, not the past, or worry about the future!
