Mosey’d with coupons over to the green space by the pumping station where there awaited 3 Easter egg baskets and 6 different colored eggs several yards in front of the baskets and up the hill. Working in 3 teams, one member of the team Murder Bunnie’d over to the eggs to grab one with carry of choice on the way back whole team then needed to complete the following exercises (count is for each person, not cumulative), and then another team member could go collect the next egg. Some eggs with harder/more exercises were worth more points. 25 minute timer for the egg-hunt.
Egg-ercises were as follows:
Green= 15 Squats w/block
Blue= 15 Bent Over Row
Yellow= 15 Curls
Pink (x2 points) = 10 Deadlifts + 10 overhead press
Purple (x2 points) = 10 Gravediggers + 10 Reverse Lunges (w/block)

Team Madoff/Valencia/Dizzy got the gold medal with a total of 32 points and a winning strategy of completing 5 oranges whilst 2nd had 30 points and 3rd 29.

CoT: I was excited all week for this egg hunt after I got the idea watching my kids do a regular one (and then re-hide the eggs 10+ times Sunday afternoon) this past weekend. I’m rarely too pumped about exercising, but adding some creativity and fun can make doing what can be a monotonous task so much more engaging and enjoyable, and I certainly found some extra energy this morning. Challenged others to try to bring fun and enjoyment to the challenging/more routine events they typically encounter.
