High humidity for the Weekly Grind. Got started with some stretching with our new friend Gus. SSHs, grass pickers, runner’s stretch, and calf and groin stretches to get things warmed up.
The Situation’s two dogs paced the group early on as we made our way up to the parking lot on the southern end of Northwestern for some parking lot merkins (plank walk merkins back and forth across an individual parking space to 10).
Continued the run around the lagoon to the stairs. Perfect place for a crawl bear up + 1 burpee, walk down -> crawl bear up + 2 burpees, walk down -> crawl bear up + 4 burpees, walk down -> crawl bear up + 8 burpees, walk down.
Ran on around the lagoon and made our way back to Elliot Park for 20 dips. Put in about 4.5 miles today, not a dry shirt in the bunch.
We saw the best of man and the worst of man during our trip out west to tackle Mt. Whitney. Lucky to have these men on the “best of” side of things.
