4 Pax joined YHC for a train themed ruck on a 61° moderate morning.
Warm-O-Rama: SSH, AV, DP, Hula Hoops
THANG 1: Tried a new exercise, the Chain Gang – Start with pack on shoulder, press overhead and than swing down, than bring to opposite shoulder (mimics swinging a sledgehammer). Ruck 3.4 miles, stopping anytime we see a trains (or el) to do 10 merkins. Periodically stopped to do the Chain Gang a few times as well.
THANGE 2: During the ruck, we did the Choo Choo (an indigenous people ruck; single file, pax in back hustles to the front, rinse/repeat).
MARY: Box Cutters, BBS, Doom Clock w/ Chain Gang: Made it to 100 hundred and didn’t have enough time to go until people tapped.
CoT: Put out a positive vibe and you’ll get positivity back. This leads to more happy and healthy relationships. Provide an example of my wife text me how dinner was going to be interesting as her dinner plans were not working. I responded that I was excited since she’s a good cook, “interesting” is a good thing. The encouraging response made for a more enjoyable and positive evening.
