60°, crisp breeze and light rain was how the morning greeted us.
This was my F3 anniversary Q and was happy to see all who made it out.
WoR: Motivators from 7, Daisy pickers, AV’s forward and back, seal clap, MMPs,
The THANG: CARDS, stands for Curls, American Hammer, Run, Dips, Squats. Pax did as many sets as possible increasing reps for each exercise by 10 every set (i.e. – Set 1, 10 curls, 10 AH, Run about 500 meters, 10 Dip, 10 squat w/block, Set 2, 20 curls, 20 AH, etc.). Run never changed per set. Goal was to do more reps than when of the best ball players of all time, Albert Pujols, and his 703 home runs.
MARY: Chris Christies, then announcements, announcements and more announcements
CoT: Billed as the Secret to McFeely, I let other pax know the secret to why I post so often and why my tag line is “Just Show Up.” Just show up is a shortened version of my Mantra, “He doesn’t get a day off, so I don’t get a day off.” What that means; 11 years ago we learned that my 3-yr old son has an unfixable eye tumor that severely impacts the vision in one of his eyes. Unbeknownst to anyone, I made a promise to myself. I needed to get in better shape and make sure I could be there for him when/if he would ever need me. For a decade, I felt I had failed, not living up to my promise. 1 yr into F3, I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for quite some time. I feel I’m getting right, I’m living right, I’m leading right (had a banner year at work), and when I’m done with things, I’m leaving right. I thank YOU. You all have pushed me, made me better, inspired me. Thank you for helping me live up to the promise I made to my son. SYITG.
