We could not have asked for a more prefect morning to be given after a relaxing holiday weekend.  67 degrees with very low humidity.

In honor of my pregnant wife’s 33’rd birthday, she chose several of the workouts for the PAX to do today.  Here’s how it went down…

5 mins of stretching / warmups

  • Rifle Carry over to the field
  • 20 side straddle hops
  • 10 don quixotes
  • Left hamstring
  • Right hamstring
  • Both Hamstrings
  • Right quad
  • Left quad
  • Stanky Leg
  • Static hip flexor
  • Shoulder left
  • Shoulder right
  • Triceps left
  • Triceps right
  • Neck rolls 

2 laps around the AO 

5 minutes of abs – wife does barre classes and I did them with her during COVID – they are killer.

  • Big Boys – 1 min
  • LBC’s – 1 min
  • Side Plank Right / Reach under – 30 seconds
  • Side Plank Left / Reach under – 30 seconds
  • Plank – 1 min
  • Freddy Mercury’s – 1 min

12 minutes of workout in 4 corners of the field 

  • Bicep curl to Press – 1 min
  • Chest Press – 1 min
  • Burpees – 1 min
  • Coupon Curl – 1 min
  • Bent over Rows – 1 min
  • Lunges – 1 min
  • Merkins – 1 min
  • Overhead Press – 1 min
  • Tree Hugger / Pregnant Ladies – 1 min
  • Tricep Dips – 1 min
  • Shoulder Tap Merkins

The COT today was very simple.  Tell your wife, fiancee, M, etc… that you love and appreciate her. Start your day off that way and I can guarantee it’s going to start off right.  They sacrifice so much for us, it’s a good reminder that a simple acknowledgement can go a long way.
