The BackBlast:

This was a repeat of an IronPax workout from a couple of years ago, shortened to meet our 30 minute time frame.

Warm Up

  1. Side straddle hops
  2. Abe wigodas, seal claps, overhead claps
  3. Jog 1/4 mile to workout site

The Thang

For the workout, PAX cycle through burpee set, jogging a lap of blacktop in between each set.  Set 1 is 5 burpees, set 2 is 10 burpees, set 3 is 15 burpees.  Set 4 resets to 5 burpees and the cycle continues.  Pax did this continuously for about 23 minutes.

COT

We closed with a 30 minute discussion of the attached excerpt.  The line we most chewed on was this one: “He does not see that the one thing a clenched fist cannot do is accept, even from le bon dieu himself, a helping hand.”
