Workout: PAX partnered up, run from WreckCenter to Barrie Park, each team must do 10 flights of stairs collectively, run back to WreckCenter (just over 3 miles); first PAX back to WC was to lead flutter kicks and squats till remaining PAX arrive, once all PAX arrived Q led Mary which consisted of Freddie Mercuries and American hammers.
Announcements: Night ruck on Friday, July 15 starting from Tron’s house in River Forest; Breakthru volunteer opportunity in early August to help run their kids day camp; 3rd year anniversary for F3 OP is slated for Sat August 6th – tentative plan is 7am beatdown, coffeeteria/breakfast, meet at Hotel Zachary at 12pm for 1:20 Cubs game
COT: as we near the 4th of July, it’s important to reflect on the positive aspects of our country. The recent changes in laws have elated some folks and greatly disappointed others. Democracy is not easy and it’s never perfect. But is it the best form of government (in my opinion). It can be easy to get caught up in the volatile events of the day and a result get down. Take the time this weekend to reflect on what you can do within your community and within your family to provide a positive role model.
