The Thang

I had a playlist ready to go, and for each song, we did one primary exercise (e.g., SSH) and during the chorus or a specific word of the song, we did something else (e.g., triceps dips). For example, during You Shook Me All Night Long, we did glute bridges during the song, but during the chorus, we did Monkey Humpers. In total, we got through about 10 songs.

COT

F3 is special – all volunteer led with no requirements – let’s all step up and keep it that way. One of my favorite poets is Robert Frost, and given the time of year, thought this was appropriate:

Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening
By Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
