The BackBlast:
Sorry for posting this back blast at the end of the day. YHC hasn’t stopped moving this entire day with this being my first opportunity to get the BB in. And I’m on my phone so I’ll keep it brief.
Homer joined in for the first time I’ve seen him in what feels like 6 months. It was nice to see him back in the fold.
in the Preblast, I left the beat down open ended. Depending on the number of people that showed up we would either be doing the IPC Week 1 or we’d be doing another workout I had planned. As fate turned out it was just Homer and YHC so we opted for the second option: today being 9/10, we did a 9/11 tribute event:
1.25 mile (2001 meter) mosey to the lake. We then attempted 9 rounds of the following:
- 11x weighted step ups
- 11x weight thrusters
- 11x rows
- 11x over the shoulder throws
- 11x deadlifts
we didn’t make it all the way through the beat down but gave it the old college try.
Back at the AO we ran through a solid 9 minute Mary including flutter kicks ICx50, zombie crunches x15 IC, heels to heaven x 15 IC and American Hammer x 10 IC
