YHC (your humble correspondent) was up early, packing the truck, ready to start the week off right. After loading up the slip n’ slide, water guns, cooler full of water, loud speaker and weights the excitement began to build on the drive over…….Was this a bad idea, too childish, would pax break a leg, would @LeadPipe uninvite me to the upcoming block party? Nahhhhhh let’s Gooooooo!!!!!”

Thang: Share the Weight (Equipment: (2) 45 lbs plates, (2) 35 lbs plates, (2) 25 lbs plates). 5 pax separate into two lines facing each other, 18 yards apart. The first three pax in each line hold the weighted plates and walk past each other in the opposite direction to the other line to pass/share the weight with the next pax waiting. Once the pax are back in their original place/line, the style of carry changes for the next round (6 rounds total).

Thang 2: Partner up. One partner will run a full lap around the outside of the soccer field while the other partner works through the following exercises (combined team reps):
- 250 Squats
- 250 Big Boys
- 250 Merkins
- 250 Side Straddle Hops
Team rep bonus: For every weighted lap (pax can choose to carry a 25, 35, or 45 lbs plate) +25 reps will be added to the total team reps for the exercise that is underway. For every slip ‘n slide attempt (max 1 per lap, per pax) +25 reps will be added to the team reps for the exercise that is underway.
