Great workout with 9 today: Alliance, Bronco, Cutter, Footloose, Kodak, LeadPipe, Rossy, and Tron.
Started with arm circles and motivators for warmup and ran to Scoville Park. While there, we did Jacob’s Ladder with burpees–starting with 1 at the top and 9 at the bottom. Between each, we did bear crawls up the hill and ran down. We finished after about six repetitions. Anyone who finished early held a leg lift and made these sweat angels.
We then mosied back to the Rec Center, but first stopped in an alley for a 60 second chair pose. At the Rec Center, each person grabbed a cinder block and a partner and met at one end of the field. While partner sprinted the width of the field and back, the other partner completed as many as reps as possible of the following with the block:
First exercise: Diamond Pushups
Second exercise: Bicep curls
Third exercise: Tricep extension–see picture below;
Fourth exercise: Uneven pushup (one hand on block and one on ground)
