On a crisp Halloween morning where the full moon still loomed large in the western skies, 8 PAX gathered for a workout aimed at completing 1000 reps per pair.
Conditions: Low 30s, clear skies.
PAX: Baywatch, Bodie, Terps, Kodak, Bronco, LED, Cowboy Mouth, Cutter (QIC)
Warmup: 10 Burpees OYO; Side Straddle Hop IC X31; Imperial Walkers IC X20; Daisy Pickers IC X15; Abe Vigodas Fwd/Bkwd IC X10 –> Overhead Claps IC X10 –> Seal Claps IC X10; Merkins IC X10.
The Thang: Partner up for a 1000-rep, quarter-mile Dora push. 100 Burpees, 200, Big Boys, 300 Merkins (100 Carolina Dry Docks, 100 Merkins, 100 Diamonds), 400 squats. Mandatory 5 Burpees each time partners switched.
CoT: Gratitude for LG downrange PAX Terps and Bodie for posting. Acknowledgment of putting in the physical work to prepare us for the long winter. Shift in focus to mental preparation. Specifically having an informed perspective to help makes sense of all the confusion and uncertainty for all those around us. And having an optimistic outlook to model for others rooted in a faith that this too will pass.
