WINTER IS COMING!
As we gear up for darker, colder, harder mornings, hoping to gather the entire group for a workout designed to prepare us for what lies ahead. That in mind, YHC is asking for all OP PAX to post.
10/03 :: WINTER IS COMING :: WRECK CENTER
As the days get shorter and the temps gets colder, 8 strong PAX gathered for the “Winter is Coming” beatdown.
PAX: LED, Fogger, Cloud Nine, Hackeysack, LeMond, Copa, Chalmers, Cutter (QIC)
Warmup: Slow Start – Plank Variation for 5 min; Break Dancers; No Surrenders; Daisy Pickers; Abe Vigodas; Seal Claps; Overhead Claps; High Knees + Butt Kickers.
Thang 1: The Grind– Bear Crawl 50/Jog 50 FWD; Bear Crawl 50/Jog 50 BKWD; Crab Walk 25/Jog 25; Alligator Merkin 25/Jog; Karaoke 50.
Thang 2: Working It – B.O.M.B.S. 50 Burpees; 75 Overhead Claps; 100 Merkins; 125 Big Bois; 150 Squats.
Thang 3: Gaining Speed – Mosey. Native run picking up tempo north on Elmwood to Erie and back down Scoville. Strong finish together.
Thang 4: Finishing Strong – 50-yard sprints X3. Motivators down from 10.
CoT: These are indeed dark times. And though we’re close to getting through it, we’re in for darker times before they get brighter. Winter is coming. We need to be a source of strength and light for all those around us. Lots of wise words shared by others about rising above the polarization of our country and being a force for unity. Let’s all use the strength we’ve gained from F3 and the momentum we’ve built up to persevere through this winter and come out stronger on the other side.
