Two Pax – QIC Lavender and HIM Noonan – congregated at a socially approved distance near the bean for a beatdown commemorating what was supposed to be baseball’s opening day 2020. It had all the hallmarks of a great baseball game or season: repetitive, interminable, and extremely rewarding.

THE THANG
Four “bases” set up in a diamond. Run to each base and complete the exercise. When you complete one base, advance to the next base. simple.
First base – 25 big boi situps
Second base – 25 dips
third base – 25 FULL squats
Home plate – 10 burpees
Repeat 9 times for the 9 innings. That’s a total of 225 of each the first 3 exercises, 90 burpees, and sprints in between each base. Don’t forget to sing “take me out to the ballgame” after completing half of the 7th “inning”. We did, although Paul Blart wasn’t really all that impressed.
