2 PAX (Noonan and Marco Polo) met on home turf – Parque de Noonan – for a Saturday AM beat-down.
Warm-up in PDN consisted of Side Straddle Hops, Imperial Walkers, Frankensteins, and Don Quixotes.
Mosey down Lake Shore Drive to the northern end of Buckingham Fountain where we completed 5 sets of a 20-rep circuit (Pulse squats, push-ups, and pulse merkins).
The final act, which took over 30 minutes, was a 10 by 10 around Buckingham Fountain. There were 4 stations (Squats, push-ups, squat hold, and mountain climbers) and 10 reps of that exercise were performed at each station, for a total of 10 laps. Squat hold was measured in seconds.
For those wondering how we were able to navigate around the Shelter in Place order, it may not apply to open areas such as Buckingham Fountain. There was a squad car there and the officers paid little attention to us, as we went about completing our 10 laps.
One final thought – With Marco Polo living in the same building, perhaps the Parque de Noonan name need to be revisited. We’ll make it talking point at our next COT.
I’ll looking to start up weekday workout this week.
