Preblast:

As the weather turns, cases rise, and a shutdown looms, winter is most certainly coming. That said, hoping we can safely gather for a convergence workout of sorts before winter truly sinks in.

I’ll be making concerted efforts to lead a safe and physically distanced workout. But I encourage everyone to consider our current situation. Think about what works for you. And play an active role in ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Meeting at SE corner of Columbus and Monroe. 7 AM Beatdown. 6:15 EC Ruck or Run.

BackBlast:

Rolling in from an EC run out to Northerly island with a spectacular sunrise, YHC was surprised to see a healthy collection of PAX from Chicago, Bucktown, Evanston, and Oak Park converging at Columbus + Monroe to get after it. Starting flat on our backs, the group picked up momentum for 60 minutes straight, closing with a motivational bang.

Conditions: Scattered clouds, Low 30s, Frost on the field.

PAX: Baywatch, Arts & Crafts, Bronco, Ladybug, The Rabbi, hOjOh, FVI, Kodak, LED, Mimbo, Alliance, Sweet Tooth, Rancid, Fogger, Cutter (QIC), RAT, Homer, Brawny, Waddle (FNG Welcome), Foxtrot, Rossy.

CoT – Reflection on a workout designed to stress the importance of maintaining momentum as we all head into a long, dark, cold, COVID-plagued winter. Reminder to be there for all our family and friends. Gratitude to Nantans for bringing F3 to all of us. Gratitude to all the PAX who showed support by showing up.

Coffeeteria – Special shout out to FVI, Kodak, and hOjOh who supplied coffee for a curbside coffeeteria. Great conversation with great guys. Awesome to meet new folks and catch up with old folks we don’t often see,
