Come on out and see what F3 Evanston is all about as we take a tour of James Park aka Mt Trashmore and its surroundings. Might have a little tribute to MerkinMania and our favorite townie, Cutter.

5 PAX met in the early morn gloom with a keen eye on the skies. They looked ominous and so did the beatdown. My guys Eskimo, Borland, RG3 and Escobar braved the elements to get after it.

Mosey to tennis courts for Evolution 1. Ran some sprints, bear crawls, crab walks and some more sprints. In between 30 second rests, we merkin-ed our way through EV1. Courts were a little slick but the footing held on for us old guys out there, not a young buck in the group. Youngest is 43, oldest is 52. Good group of men.
Mosey to Baseball diamond for Evolution 2. Stole a fun one from my guy over at F3 Oak Park, RA. Thanks for the idea. We ran a 4 corners, shorter version, around the bases. Jump squats, lunges, Bonnie Blairs and ending with monkey humpers. 20 at each base. Legs were feeling it after our sprints and mosey-ing around James Park.
Mosey back to Mt Trashmore for a lighter version of MerkinMania. Derkins, Merkins, Crerkins and Werkins were done.

Then the rains hit,,, So we scurried out after a short 5-10 min “coffeeteria”.
Good to see the three new PAX out each week. Some VQs in the near future from Borland, RG3 & Escobar, I can feel it. VQs are always a little intimidating at first but you need to remember that the other PAX are just happy to follow along and have someone there leading them through a solid workout.
F3 Evanston is building momentum and with next Friday’s weather report looking promising, hoping to see some new EH’d locals out for some fun.
