Closing comments – was prepared to speak on respect for Lt. Michael Murphy and reminder of all the members of the Armed Services and 1st Responders who do not get to spend the holiday w/ family and why NOT traveling out of state to see family isn’t the end of the world for me … but experienced something different during the beatdown :
We all pushed through this workout together, but individually. Pax broke up the rep movements and reps differently in order to keep moving … mumble-chatter was quiet! It reminded me that as each of us are chipping away at our own personal business – a reminder that eight other guys (a metaphor) are doing the same thing!! When we hit struggles, we gotta remember to call in the brothers going through the same fight.
No one finished the workout, but I would never have gotten as far as I would if attempted alone. Thankful to the SkyQ for the blessings I’m given, the ability to workout and the men who surround me. /Kodak Out!!
